DREAM

Firstly, we were given the topic of dream. In response to that topic, we presented our drawings individually on A1 newsprint with the help of charcoal acting as a medium.

DRAWINGS

Later on, we were divided into groups each containing 5 members, based on the drawing styles and different themes. My group drawings were mainly focused on grotesque creatures trying to inhabit the space they are in. Every creature has its own space and ways to go around. Our themes were related to mystery, temptation and chase. Individually we all 5 members created our own drawings by putting the above themes in it. Then we tried to put the drawings together in the form of collage.

MODEL MAKING

After that, we focused on the model making process where we enlarged some creatures which stand out in the drawing.
Finally we shortlisted 2 creatures.

We made models of these creatures by using different types of materials like file cards, cardboard, bamboo etc.
