Iterations

The existing seating area has a bench placed on the plinth, which is used in multiple ways.
People can use the multiple plinths in various ways.

The intersection between two different plinths can create distinct spaces.
The existing benches are placed on plinths, and both elements are used in multiple ways by people. Taking this into consideration, a raised platform was conceptualized integrating benches, tables, and multiple plinths designed to support various reading postures and activities.
The first iteration drew inspiration from the original arrangement of benches on plinths. A key design aspect was the intersection of multiple plinths, envisioned as a space that could accommodate both seating and integrated bookshelves.
Through several iterations, the final model emerged, striking a balance between diverse human reading positions and the strategic placement of shelving.
